The Last Run of the Millennium - 28th December 1999

The starting point for our run was Brading Downs. The weather was in our favour, well it may have been too cold for ice cream, but at least it didn't rain all day! As a winter warmer, we provided hot mince pies to all who attended the Downs which were well received. We invited the main Island car clubs, but unfortunately due to impending bad weather the number of clubs who attended was less than anticipated.

After a steady run of approximately 17 miles through Sandown, Shanklin, Godshill and Merstone, we arrived at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Havenstreet. We were kindly given permission to display our cars within the station yard.

We would like to thank all involved at the Railway for their assistance.
