The 11th Triumph Sports Six Club Camping Weekend

Well the weekend may have started off very wet for those sleeping in tents, but Saturday the weather had improved, the sun was shining, it was even warm enough for a barbeque! Thanks to all those who attended and those who arranged the events for our benefit.
 

 

Friday 28th April
Throughout the week, Triumphs start to arrive, by Friday most have arrived and set up their tents.  In the evening the Club House on site is open, so time to get together and enjoy a beer or two.
 

 

Saturday 29th April
In the morning a convoy starting at the Campsite and finishing at Carisbrooke Castle had been organised followed by a visit to the castle and a scattered navigation event for after lunch.  The evenings entertainment was a disco at the Club House.
 

 

Sunday 30th April
Starting at 11am convoy out along the Seafronts; always popular as Ventnor is very steep so lots of tyre squeals the run ended at Bembridge beach for silly games but it was a bit too cold.  The evenings entertainment was provided by our local quiz master, Derek.  Each team makes up a silly name, ours was Hoof Hearted.
 

 

Monday 1st May
The final day.  Packing up of tents and caravans etc, followed by a final convoy out to the White Mouse in Chale for the traditional lunch gathering for final farewells.
